The start of Spring is here in the foothills and the bugs are beginning to emerge.

This is the time of the year to start looking around your home for any problem areas. You want to make sure that you have clutter and debris cleared away from your foundation. Clutter allows for moisture to collect and for insects to live and breed right next to your house. Being close to the house mans they will have easy access to travel up the foundation and into the walls of your home.

Other areas to look out for are any branches touching the roof or walls of your home.  This will allow ants to cross them and access your house. When the season becomes hotter, the insects become more desperate for water. This will draw them closer to your home in search of it.

These suggestions can help in keeping insects from invading your home. If you combine these prevention methods and have us spray a residual insecticide around the perimeter of your home, you will get the results you are looking for (an insect free home).
