Move items away from your home
This actually serves two purposes. One is to remove the possible nesting places for various pests (ants, spiders, wasps, mice, etc). The other is to make sure that we are able to put down a solid spray around your home. This is especially important around the base, as it is the place that mosts pests will be entering your home. Being able to put down a complete barrier of spray makes sure that no pests can get in.
Refrain from too much cleaning
Once we have laid down a residual spray and it has dried, we dont want you to clean over the surface area we have treated. When you see dead bugs, the first instinct is usually to clean them up. Unfortunately, this will also remove the residual, which in turn removes a part of the barrier. We know that refraining from cleaning can be difficult, but it will help get rid of your pest problem sooner.
Allow the spray to do it’s work
Shortly after your home is sprayed, you may occassionally see pests around your house. For example, after your house has been sprayed for ants, you may see a line of ants appear as if nothing had happened. Don’t kill them. The reason for this is that the spray contains a residual. The ants will track this on there suction cups of their feet and take it back to their nest, in turn, killing off the source of the problem. Killing the pests as you see them reduces the chances that they are able to carry the spray back to the nest.
