Ants coming into the house but you can’t find how there getting in. It could mean one of two things. The first is that they are already in the house. If noticed trails of ants going into the house recently, but no longer see them outside, then it is likely that they have already established their nest inside your home. And with access to your food and water, there is really no reason for them to go back outside. The second is that they are taking a more secret route.

Power lines, telephone lines, branches, and anything thing else that is touching your house can be used as a highway for ants and other insects to get into your home.  This is especially common in places like Auburn, Grass Valley, and Colfax were we have a lot of trees.

The below video discusses how the ants cross and what you can do to stop them. You can also find more information here: Keep ants out of your house.
